This course is based in Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication and Focusing as taught by Ann Weiser Cornell

Caring for your most enduring relationship–the one with YOURSELF

Transform negative self-talk


Do you do things out of shame, anxiety, or self-punishment? Learn to relate to your thoughts in a way that leaves you feeling empowered, not stuck. 

Understand WHY you do things


It's not because you're a bad person. Learn what motivates people and why we sabotage ourselves. 


Develop your self-compassion


Learn to listen with compassion to what's going on inside. Feel calmer and more choiceful rather than getting triggered.


Level Up Your Communication Skills


Practice speaking your truth and asking for what you want in a way that's more likely to lead to a mutually beneficial outcome.

Tess Burke


Leadership Coach 


Tess Burke is a personal growth & effectiveness cheerleader and strategist. She helps people who are committed to their personal growth and making a positive difference in the world to do the healing and gain the skills necessary for success. 

She has more than 90 days of training in Nonviolent Communication, has been learning and practicing Focusing since 2014, and has taught hundreds of students from over 30 countries. 

Tess lives in community in the Pacific Northwest.
